Description:

Stanford University, Department of Medicine, Quantitative Sciences Unit (QSU) is seeking a Biostatistician 2 to be with some independence, consult with investigators to refine research questions, define hypotheses, design studies and devise analysis plans. The incumbent will work with senior statistician(s) to implement analysis plan and publish findings, present results orally to clinical and lab-based investigators, and to provide guidance to collaborators on design and analysis issues.


The mission of the QSU is to facilitate cutting-edge scientific studies initiated by Stanford investigators by providing expertise in biostatistics and informatics, to mentor and educate clinical investigators in research methods, and to mentor data scientists so that they can reach their full potential. The QSU achieves its mission through an interdisciplinary collaborative approach where QSU members become fully integrated into individual research teams.
