Biostatistician

Assists in managing the evaluation portion and related activities for the National COVID-19 Resiliency Network Project (NCRN). Funded by the U.S. Health and Human Services, Office of Minority Health, the NCRN will develop and coordinate a strategic and structured network of national, state/territorial/tribal and local public and community-based organizations that will mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on racial and ethnic minority, rural and socially vulnerable populations through: (1) the coordinated development and dissemination of culturally and linguistically diverse information; (2) dissemination of information on available COVID-19 testing and vaccination, other healthcare, and social services, especially in geographic communities highly impacted by COVID-19 and at highest risk for adverse outcomes; and (3) dissemination of effective strategies for COVID-19 response, recovery, and resilience.

• Will be responsible for data management for population and regional level data used to support the implementation design efforts.
• Works with PI, Project Director and Leads on study design, analysis, and data visualization for the project.
• Geocoding of data, linking data with national, state, area and neighborhood level data and other datasets, producing maps and multi-level modeling of national to individual level data
• performs high, quality and replicable quantitative and geospatial analyses using SAS, ArcGIS or other appropriate statistical software.
• Communicates and interprets results for research team and provides statistical design expertise to the project team.
