Job Description
This is for an internship position from June – August 2020
Implementation & Timeline (10-week internship):

Statistical analysis plan. (1.5 week)
o Feasibility assessment based on data in Truven MarketScan®.
o Candidate treatments, covariates and outcomes definitions.
o Code lists preparation for building cohorts of MS patients in Truven MarketScan®.
o Simplified description of the methods in Yadlowsky et al.
o Introduction of proposed tools for enhanced clinical interpretability.

Creation of a cohort in IHD. (1 week)

Data analysis and report. (4 weeks)

Incorporate proposed tools in a R package. (2 weeks)

Report summarizing the proposed tools and findings. (1.5 week)
Qualifications
To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Grade point average of 3.2 or higher preferred
- At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Education
PhD student in Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Economics or related field
